How to use our candles

Xyrena candles are made with our award-winning world famous scents and a proprietary soy wax blend in a sleek tin with dual crackling wooden wicks.

Learn how to use our candles for the best possible performance.

Tips & Tricks

Approximate total burn time is 45 hours but will vary depending on the scent, environment, and length of each burn session.

The included lid can be used as a snuffer or turned upside down as a decorative base for the candle.

Instead of lighting from the middle of the wick, light one corner and the flame will make its way across the rest of it.

Sometimes, the candle won't pool completely during the initial 4 hour burn, leaving approximately 1/2 inch of wax on the side of the vessel. This is not a defect and will melt away during subsequent burns.

Xyrena candles burn edge to edge but some minor wax adhesion/residue on the sides of the tin is normal.

For Best Performance

Our candle wicks are not pre-trimmed. The wooden wicks should be trimmed to be 1/8” above the wax prior to each burn. If the wick is too tall the flame will be too large and the overall burn time will decrease.

The candle should burn for 4 - 5 hours upon first use, otherwise subsequent burns may have uneven melt pools and tunneling of the wax.

After the initial burn, whenever possible keep the candle lit for at least an hour but not more than 4.

After each use, allow the wax to fully cool and solidify, then use a wick trimmer (or gently press your finger against the side) to remove the burnt tip of the wick and discard the burnt portion.

Keep away from drafts/fans/air conditioner vents as this may affect burn time and performance.

Safety

Burn within sight.

Keep away from flammables.

Keep away from children and pets.

Burn in a well ventilated area.

The candle tin will be very hot while burning and about 15 minutes after. Do not touch or attempt to pick up a hot candle tin.

Never leave a candle burning unattended.
